(POEM) Primaries by Zelda Bean

Primaries

It was a memorable color.

It had a cologne of its own.

Yellow saved me from the horrendous.

I call that color God.

It was a trinity—

the color tubes used.

Yellow, red and blue.

However, yellow saved me.

If I could be egg yolk for the day,

I would.

Surrounded by a white halo.

The only brightness I have ever known.
