Which relationship has taught you the most about yourself?

I actually have never been in a romantic relationship, and I’m 33 years old. I am very unlucky in love. In high school, the boys liked to make fun of me instead of being with me. At seventeen, my mom became a helicopter parent after I had a breakdown at school. This helicopter behavior followed me into my twenties. I also was in writing mode, so I had no time to date. I know other people balance things, but I couldn’t. I didn’t realize I had missed milestones until my therapist said. My late twenties until now, I have been in mental health care and group homes, two terrible places to date. And now I’m turning 33. I’m probably asexual. I still would like to try kissing and sex with my future husband, but I indeed have a very good relationship with myself. That’s my very best relationship.
